Thailand's Government Housing Bank (GHBank) will celebrate its 65th anniversary by offering special mortgage programs at the upcoming GHBank Expo in Bangkok.
Chairman of the Board at GHBank, Surachai Danaitangtrakul, said the comprehensive real estate exhibition will support the government’s policy of providing housing for low and middle income citizens and will stimulate the real estate sector.
GHBank President, Chatchai Sirilai, revealed that the bank has prepared 6.5 billion baht for issuing loans during the four-day event, which will feature highlights such as low-interest mortgages, reduced fees for up to four years, and 1.8% interest on deposits under one million baht. Products include new homes by real estate developers at discount prices, affordable homes from the National Housing Authority for qualifying low-income citizens, second-hand homes by specialized state-run financial institutions at discounts of up to 50%, and up to 300 foreclosed properties offered by the Legal Execution Department.
In addition, the expo will showcase innovations in the financial sector, such as Pracharat cash deposit machines and seminars on residential construction, real estate brokerages, senior citizens in the era of Thailand 4.0, as well as other financial topics for low-income citizens.
