The National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) is encouraging the general public to attend Future Thailand and the launch of the national reform plan and 20-year strategy.
The NESDB will be holding Future Thailand tomorrow at Central World shopping center's Central Court Zone C from 12.00 p.m. to 08.00 p.m.
The opening ceremony will be presided over by Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office Kobsak Pootrakool, who will talk about the national reform direction and national strategy
The national reform plan and the 20-year strategy will be unveiled to the general public, along with exhibitions and activities giving out prizes to participants.
The 11 national reform plans were announced in the Royal Gazette on 6 April 2018, which include reformations in the political system, government administration, the law, the justice system, the economy, natural resources and the environment, public health, mass media, information technology, the society, energy, and corruption prevention.
On the drafting of the national 20-year strategy, the government has approved in principle a draft submitted by the National Strategy Commission, and has assigned the NESDB and related agencies to review the draft, making refinements for the completeness of the strategy to be reviewed again by the cabinet according to the protocol.
