The Ministry of the Interior's Ladies Association has held a meeting on its role in protecting the environment of Nakhon Ratchasima province.
The meeting, chaired by the association's chairperson Parita Phromlert, took place at Kantary Hotel Khorat. The attendees consisted of housewife members from the provinces of Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Maha Sarakham, Yasothon, Sisaket, Roi Et, Surin, Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen.
The activity today aimed to enable its members in the northeastern provinces to share their views on the association's performance and on how to enhance its role in environmental conservation. Governor Wichian Chantaranothai, and heads of different divisions were also at the venue.
Exhibitions on waste management and on the late King Rama IX's self-reliant economic philosophy were also held as part of the activity.
