Natural resources and environment minister inspects community forest in Nakhon Sawan

Natural Resources and Environment Minister Surasak Karnjanarat inspected community forest and groundwater resources development projects in Nakhon Sawan province.

He visited Tak Fah district in Nakhon Sawan province to observe progress in natural conservations projects and received briefings on the local environmental issue which will be proposed to the government, the arrangement of the land rights for communities, forest conditions and the situation of deforestation, unauthorized holding of lands in forest reserves, the arrangement for land use allocation by local communities, water resources projects, and forest planting projects.

Besides, the minister traveled to Pu Nok Yoong community to observe Baan Tri Khiri community forest, and visit Baan Nong Rahum village to observe the progress in groundwater resources development for agriculture.

ACMECS leaders to implement master plan for 5-year development cooperation

 The leaders of countries participating in the Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, vowed to implement a five-year master plan for regional development, before the official opening ceremony this morning. DPM Prawit:Govt yet to set dates for political party meetings

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has insisted it is not yet time for the government to set clear dates for meetings with political parties or to lift the ban on political activities.
