PM admires Bio Hub rice manufacturing in Nakhon Sawan

The Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha observed the rice seedlings manufacturing at Kla-Krang Company, praising the Bio Hub manufacturing cycle and encouraging farmers to take into consideration the marketing of their farm products.

The premier visited Kla-Krang Company during an official visit to Nakhon Sawan province to observe the rice seedlings and manufacturing practices under the Bio Hub cycle, rice research and the new business models for rice farming under support of government agencies.

He met with local villagers and said the manufacturing of rice seedlings is crucial for the manufacturing cycle because, he said, quality seeds mean better farming and harvest, while the farmers were suggested understand the marketing mechanisms and produce their products with quality suitable to the demands.

He encouraged the farmers to gather and do the farming in groups in order to have more bargaining power for favorable prices and to help cut down the manufacturing costs, as well as implement technology to help with the sales of their products.

ACMECS leaders to implement master plan for 5-year development cooperation

The leaders of countries participating in the Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, vowed to implement a five-year master plan for regional development, before the official opening ceremony this morning. DPM Prawit:Govt yet to set dates for political party meetings

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has insisted it is not yet time for the government to set clear dates for meetings with political parties or to lift the ban on political activities.
