The Public Relations Department (PRD) has held a workshop on developing a sense of social responsibility and preventing graft in state agencies.
PRD Deputy Director-General Dr. Charoon Chaisorn presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop, which raised awareness in the department about ethical conduct. He told PRD staff who attended the event to uphold ethical codes of conduct, while separating their personal affairs from work. He added that it is important for PRD personnel to be mindful of their responsibilities to society.
Meanwhile, M.L. Krai-roek Kasemsan, Former Vice President of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the PRD Ethics Committee, told the workshop attendees to strictly follow the PRD’s 2009 civil servant codes of conduct, and the department’s 2012 broadcasting occupational ethical codes. He urged employees to be honest with themselves and fulfill their duties justly.
