Siam tulip season starts in Chaiyaphum

Relevant agencies in the northeastern province of Chaiyaphum have jointly held an activity announcing the start of the Siam tulip season in Thep Sathit district.

Governor of Chaiyaphum, Narong Wunsiew presided over the opening ceremony of the Siam Tulip Festival at Pa Hin Ngam National Park. Different organizations and local people have readied facilities to welcome visitors throughout the three-month festival.

Siam tulips are in bloom between June and August. Pa Hin Ngam National Park and Sai Thong National Park are must-visit places for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of Chaiyaphum's native flowers.

Apart from Siam tulips, tourists will also have the opportunity to shop for locally produced food and other items of the northeastern province, such as silk cloth, sausage and durian.

ACMECS leaders to implement master plan for 5-year development cooperation

 The leaders of countries participating in the Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, vowed to implement a five-year master plan for regional development, before the official opening ceremony this morning. DPM Prawit:Govt yet to set dates for political party meetings

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has insisted it is not yet time for the government to set clear dates for meetings with political parties or to lift the ban on political activities.
