Suphan Buri's Center for Civil Society Development has held a workshop oh healthy lifestyle promotion to support the aging society in local communities.
The Vice Governor of Suphan Buri, Songpon Jaikrim, today presided over a meeting on health promotion for persons in special groups in Loei, Phayao and Suphan Buri, held at Wang Yang Resort, Suphanburi. A total of 100 participants attended the meeting.
The meeting was organized by local health promotion networks and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation regional office 9 to promote healthy lifestyle among the general public.
The Director of the Regional Center for Civil Society Development of Suphan Buri Province, Rattana Somboonwit, said this meeting is intended to prepare the province for the aging society by promoting the development of special care system and facilities at 22 local communities in Suphan Buri to better serve elderly people.
The meeting provided a platform for exchanges in ideas and experiences according to local issues and demands, and featured a demonstration of an exercise adapted from the folk Ram Wong dance by villagers.
