Surat Thani OSS Center to provide nationality verificaton service for Myanmar migrant workers

Surat Thani One Stop Service (OSS) Center will provide a nationality verification service for Myanmar migrant workers with its mobile units during 4-6 June 2018.

Surat Thani Provincial Employment Office has joined hands with the Myanmar authority to provide the nationality verification service at Surat Thani Civic Center with the use of its mobile service units.

The service will be provided to holders of the pink identification card and their dependents and those holding purple passports with a valid visa which can be used to obtain a CI document.

The service will require an advance payment of 310 baht at any 7-11 convenience store, which can be processed by showing the pink card or passport to the cashier. Receipt of the payment, along with the pink card or passport, will be required to contact the nationality verification center where another payment of 350 baht will be collected by Myanmar officials.

The extra service will be provided to ensure final registrations of all Myanmar migrant workers will be completed by 7 June 2018.

ACMECS leaders to implement master plan for 5-year development cooperation

 The leaders of countries participating in the Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, vowed to implement a five-year master plan for regional development, before the official opening ceremony this morning. DPM Prawit:Govt yet to set dates for political party meetings

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has insisted it is not yet time for the government to set clear dates for meetings with political parties or to lift the ban on political activities.
