The well-known Andaman Sea tourist destination, Krabi province, will host the Thailand Biennale at the end of 2018.
The Permanent Secretary for Culture, Kritsayaphong Siri, said on Sunday (Aug 5th) that the Ministry of Culture and Krabi will bring more than 50 international and Thai artists to create outdoor contemporary artworks harmonized with the beach city's setting.
The Culture Ministry's Office of Contemporary Art and Culture is gearing up to implement the national policy of Thailand 4.0 by adding value to the famous tourist destination with the contemporary art biennale in Krabi.
The event will be held from November 2nd, 2018, to February 28th, 2019. It will explore the theme of "Edge of the Wonderland".
