A deputy secretary-general of the Southern Border Provinces Administration Center (SBPAC) visited Saudi Arabia to meet with Thai Hajj pilgrims and invite them to adhere to Hajj principles while promoting the positive image of Thailand.
Deputy SBPAC Secretary-General Kitti Surakhamkaeng met with Hajj pilgrims from Thailand at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, along with officials from Thailand and members of the media.
The pilgrims were sponsored to travel to the Hajj by the SBPAC and the government under a campaign to have notable persons join in the pilgrimage.
He told these pilgrims that they have received the opportunity to represent the country at the Hajj pilgrimage, so they should adhere to the Hajj principles while possessing kindness, selflessness and friendliness to other people.
