Labor Protection and Welfare Dept approves loan worth ฿10 million to help debtors at Lad Krabang Industrial Estate
The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has approved a loan of 10 million baht from the Labor Fund to assist people with informal debt at Lad Krabang Industrial Estate in Bangkok.
The Director-General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Ananchai Uthaipattanacheep, said on Monday (Aug 13th) that the loan program will help ease the financial burden of 236 people who are members of Lad Krabang Industrial Estate's savings cooperative.
Mr. Ananchai said the loan program will benefit workers who earn less than 35,000 baht a month to pay off their informal loans and credit card bills, allowing them to have a better quality of life in accordance with His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's teachings.
Interested savings cooperatives can ask for more information about this loan program from all provincial labour protection and welfare offices, or call 0 2245 6774 or 0 2246 0383.
