The Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has urged Thai people to apply Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s principles of developing both themselves and the country.
On the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 86th birthday anniversary on August 12th, 2018, Gen. Prayut said Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, as "Mother of the Land", has demonstrated perseverance, commitment, and determination though her royal duties to ensure that the Thai people can make an honest living and Thailand remains stable and united.
For instance, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit gives considerable importance to villages, communities, and natural resource development, as they are home to food production and agricultural activities for the whole nation.
