Thai officials visit Hajj pilgrims at Mecca

Officials from the Thai Hajj Affairs Office have traveled to Saudi Arabia to provide advice and suggestions to pilgrims at Mecca.

A team of officials from the Thai Hajj Affairs Office met with Thai pilgrims at Hilton Suites Makkah in Saudi Arabia, to offer academic information as well as a religious lecture to over 200 people there.

During the meeting, an executive of the Thai Hajj Affairs Office said that his team has been tasked to facilitate Thai pilgrims throughout the period of the Hajj, while paying visits to all pilgrims to offer academic and religious services.

The Thai Hajj Affairs Office also asked all Thai pilgrims to pray for peace to return to Thailand’s southern border region.

In addition, donations through pilgrimage operators and religious leaders are welcome as such contributions will be offered to pilgrims from around the world and this act of kindness will certainly boost Thailand’s image among them.

Development of payment system in PTT gas stations

ACMECS leaders to implement master plan for 5-year development cooperation

The leaders of countries participating in the Ayeyawady – Chao Phraya – Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, vowed to implement a five-year master plan for regional development, before the official opening ceremony this morning. DPM Prawit:Govt yet to set dates for political party meetings

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs has insisted it is not yet time for the government to set clear dates for meetings with political parties or to lift the ban on political activities.
